Reggefiber has also developed various collaborative venture models for providing fibre-optic cable to rural areas. Reggefiber contributes EUR 1,000 for each home in each cluster in rural areas that is connected to a fibre-optic cable. Reggefiber proposes a business model to provide for the shortfall, with each stakeholder making a contribution. This can be funded by a joint effort involving the municipality, residents and Reggefiber. This business model is sustainable and repeatable for other areas.
